SPI Installer Network

Find a Qualified Installer

Connect with natural stone paver installers who follow the SPI method β€” correct base preparation, proper material selection, and proven installation techniques for South Florida conditions.

What This Means
The SPI Installation Standard

An installer who follows the SPI method understands the specific requirements of natural stone β€” and applies them correctly on every project.

Base Preparation

Correct excavation depth, compacted base aggregate in lifts, proper geotextile installation, and verified drainage slope before any stone is set.

Material Selection

Low-iron or mineral-free sand for marble and limestone, white Portland cement for mortar beds and dry-pack, white thinset for slab installations β€” never gray.

Installation Method

Concrete-based methods recommended for marble and limestone. Sand-set only where appropriate. Correct jointing and sealing after installation.
