Material Selection
Know your paver types
Marble
Elegant & Porous

Highly polished and visually striking, but porous β€” requires sealing and careful installation to prevent iron staining. See our dedicated stain prevention guide and concrete installation methods.

Travertine
Pool-Friendly

Stays cool underfoot in the sun β€” popular around pools and in Florida climates. Naturally slip-resistant surface. Requires sealing. Natural voids should be filled before outdoor use.

Limestone
Soft & Natural

A softer natural stone with an earthy, organic appearance. Prone to scratching and staining without proper sealing. Requires a rigid base for driveway applications β€” see the driveway guide.

Porcelain
Low Maintenance

Non-porous, frost-resistant, and virtually stain-proof. No sealing required. Harder to cut than natural stone but virtually zero long-term upkeep.
